Photography
After my parents gifted me my first real camera in my 20s, I became fascinated with photography. I studied at the Houston Art Institute when film was king, and I soon discovered that I was especially drawn to the post-processing side of the craft. So many options!
Enter the wonderful world of computers. I immersed myself in the never-ending possibilities of the digital explosion.
Having been a frustrated artist (I don’t seem to have a strong drawing ability), I decided to explore another way to create “painterly” images—through my computer. Since I believe everyone is a photographer these days, my aim is to bring those ho-hum images to life, transforming them into art suitable for framing.
