Retired after over thirty years in the environment of corporate purchasing for major medical manufacturing companies, I have now immersed myself in my painting. Watercolors, Oils, Acrylic Abstracts…..all medias are exciting and ready to explore.
I have painted as a hobby for many years and taken workshops from well known artists such as Steven Quiller, Betsy Dillard Stroud, Mark Mehaffey, Zoltan Zabo, and many others. The workshops have created opportunities to grow my skills and incorporate some of the lessons from each instructor into developing my own style.
When we travel, I always have a watercolor sketchbook along to commemorate the places we’ve been. Raft trips, camping, backpacking and beach vacations have filled the books with memories as the years have gone by. The quote I often have to use is “I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.”
I am a member of Littleton Fine Arts Guild , Paintbox Guild and a signature member of Colorado Watercolor Society. My work can be seen most often at the Depot Gallery in Littleton, Co.
