Watercolor, collage, mixed media, printmaking, fiber and other media that might trip my trigger
I love art, all kinds of art. I fell in love with art after seeing the works of many western artists, especially Charlie Russel, at the Whitney Gallery of Western Art, now the Whitney Museum of Western Art, in Cody, Wyoming in 1960.
After a career in telecommunications, I began dabbling in art and working primarily with fiber. Having some success and wondering if I could be an artist, I took lessons in oil and then stumbled upon oil and cold wax. I now work in watercolor, mixed media, collage and printmaking.
I am a member of the Littleton Fine Arts Guild and exhibit work at the Depot Art Gallery in Littleton, Colorado. I have participated in various shows throughout the metro area and have a few pretty ribbons on the wall.
Art is nurturing, demanding and wonderfully fulfilling. I believe that everyone is creative and that everyone has a spark inside that, if nourished, can be the start of something wonderful that will bless everyone it touches.
I am the author and publisher of the Gold Medal Award winning book, “If the Dragon Wins, Build Another Castle: The ABC’s of Grief.”
Begin
Where does it start?
How does it end?
Who knows
Until you
Begin.
