Watercolor
I grew up on a ranch on the Western Slope of Colorado. I have always loved painting! I painted what I saw around me – the Aspen trees, Evergreen trees, rocks, clouds, sunsets, mountains, flowers and birds. I painted with oils and acrylics for years.
I went back to college to get my third degree in 1991, this time in Interior Design. I owned my own company for 26 years and loved helping clients remodel their homes and offices. I also did home additions. I was working with colors and textures and advising clients on art to purchase!
After retiring, painting came back into the picture, but this time I decided to tackle a new medium, watercolor! I enjoy taking workshops and expanding my knowledge. The artist community has become like a family to me.
I have traveled the world and have tons of photos from everywhere! However, my great love is Colorado. Painting it to show others what my world at home looks like, is my goal!
