About the Artist
Years ago, I was making draperies for a large Denver company. While there I was told I had a good eye for design, color, and space. I was encouraged to take interior design classes which led me to starting my own decorating business. During this time, I was asked to audition for a television show at channel 6 called “Home Accessories”; this was a show where we focused on decorating and crafts and it aired for several years.
My next adventure began when I became a flight attendant for an international travel club. I flew for over ten years and have been around the world twice. I made sure to visit art museums and historical sites in every country.
Because of my love for fiber and design I took a weaving class and have now been weaving for many years. My most recent class was a Japanese weaving class on a Saori loom. Everything I make is unique and one-of-a-kind. I love to take classes and learn new techniques. I also do many arts and crafts shows where I display my wearable art.
